NRA Pistol First Steps $85.00
This course meets the training requirement for application for a Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit. FIRST stands for "Firearm Instruction, Responsibility, and Safety Training", a program the NRA developed to meet the need for a firearms orientation program. This FIRST Steps program is a basic course abbreviated to the most fundamental shooting skills.
This course, because of its narrow focus, can be completed in as quickly as three hours. Students will get the NRA's "The Basics of Pistol Shooting" handbook and quick practical lessons on the safe use, cleaning, and storage of their pistol. The practical shooting exercises covers the two-handed standing shooting position and the bench rest position.

You do not need to own a handgun to take this class. You may borrow one of ours for free. We will provide free ammo for the 22 caliber semi-automatic or revovler. If you would like to use another caliber, student will be responsible for purchasing the ammo. Free handgun use only when taken with The NRA FIRST Steps Pistol Class.
** Student must obtain NRA Range Card at the NRA Range 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030 703-267-1400 prior to date of class. All first-time users of the NRA range must complete a written range test to receive a card. This is a educational exercise and not a a graded test. There is a small one time processing fee.
** Student is responsible for range fee and ammunition.
NRA Pistol First Steps- one on one in your home- $100.00 per person
This is the same 3 hour NRA First Step Pistol Class, but we come to you. After completion of the course we will arrange a time to meet at the NRA Range in Fairfax, VA for the live firing part. Once completed PISTOLINSTRUCTION.COM will provide you with your NRA certificate. Range fees and ammo are the students responsibility.
Personal Coaching/ One on One Training - $70 per hour
Are you looking to improve your personal Shooting skills? PISTOLINSTRUCTION.COM offers one on one training and personal coaching. We are available on evenings and weekends. Range fees and ammunition are the responsibility of the student.
Firearm Rental- $20.00 per hour - For personal coaching and one on one training only. If you take our NRA FIRST steps pistol class, you may use one of our pistols for free. Ammunition will need to be purchased by the student.
Don't own a firearm? Borrow one of ours. Range fees and ammunition are not included. A PISTOLINSTRUCTION.COM employee must be present at the time of rental. We can meet you at the NRA Range located in Fairfax, VA.
